Note.  Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a vaild private pilot certificate. Must meet the eligibility requirements listed in §61.183.  Number of flight hours may vary. Training is conducted to proficiency and safety, and may exceed quoted minimums. Several variables may affect the overall cost & duration of training to include but not limited to: pilot aptitude, training frequency, aircraft maintenance, and weather.

  • Written exam prep software $50 - $60

  • Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI) written exam $175  (required)

  • Flight Instructor Airplane (FIA) written exam $175  (required)

  • Checkride fee $1000†  (required)

  • †The checkride fee is set by the FAA designated pilot examiner (DPE) and is independent of the school. The school has no control or authority over the examiner.
