Note.  Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a vaild private pilot certificate. Must meet the eligibility requirements listed in §61.183.  Number of flight hours may vary. Training is conducted to proficiency and safety, and may exceed quoted minimums. Several variables may affect the overall cost & duration of training to include but not limited to: pilot aptitude, training frequency, aircraft maintenance, and weather.

  • Written exam prep software $50 - $60

  • Flight Instructor Instrument Airplane (FII) written test $175  (required)

  • Checkride fee $1000†  (required)
